ABOUT
Birmingham City University Polo Team
Birmingham City University Polo Club was formed by Paul Erhahiemen in 2013. The club aims to bring the excitement of polo to everyone studying at BCU.
Our members range from complete beginners (i.e. never sat on a horse or been near a horse in their lives) to the seasoned player/rider plus, you don't need to own a polo pony to join.

We are a sociable and competitive team, who organises many socials such as parties, dinners, soirees, charity events, polo days, hacking/horse riding socials and fun days such as laser tag to name a few!

Polo lessons are usually every Wednesday and Saturday at Offchuch Bury Polo Club (OBPC). Lessons cover technique, riding, rules, tactics and polo skills. Each lesson is delivered by a qualified polo instructor and concluded with a constructional chukka to consolidate the days lesson. We are able to have lessons on any day of the week provided there's a least 4 people attending.
Lessons last for one hour and are tremendous fun!
